Hello and welcome to this edition of 1750, Finlays’ annual thought-leadership magazine!
In an increasingly fast-paced world, 1750 offers an expert, long-term perspective on the biggest topics, trends, challenges, and opportunities in the global natural beverages industry. It also serves to update you – our valued colleagues, customers, and partners – on what’s happening at Finlays.
This year marks Finlays’ 275th anniversary – but as ever, our sights are set firmly on the future. That’s why in 2025, we unveiled our new corporate Purpose that defines not just the world we are seeking to create, but how we plan to get there.
The focus of this year’s magazine is very much Finlays Solutions – the new brand for our integrated global extract solutions business, which encompasses our operations in the U.S., U.K., Kenya, and Asia.
Make no mistake, the launch of Finlays Solutions is a major milestone and speaks to how we are seeking to serve the ever-changing global beverage landscape through innovative R&D and exceptional partnership. You can find out more in “We’ve got the Solution”.
Elsewhere, our tea and coffee businesses are going from strength to strength.
Finlays Beverages has continued to deliver its transformation by building strategic relationships with its customers. You can find out more by reading “Reimagining the Own Brand Model”.
Finlays Colombo, Finlays MEAC and Finlays Argentina are continuing to find new ways to do better each time for their customers, and I’m proud to say that, whether it’s innovative beverage solutions, packed coffee, or sustainably sourced tea, Finlays is in a strong position.
Speaking of sustainability, we have continued to make strong progress on delivering against our Sustainable Future 2030 commitments, often with the support of customers, suppliers, and other partners. As the threats of climate change, human rights risks, and supply chain disruption grow ever more existential, it’s vital that the industry comes together to find solutions. You’ll find a special feature on sustainability later in the magazine.
